Young Gynaecologist Award

History

The SAFOG Young Gynaecologist Award was proposed by Dr Rubina Sohail in 2018 during one of the council meetings and approved by the council. The first SAFOG YGA’s were given in 2019 during the 12th SAFOG Conference held at Dhaka in 2019.

Objectives

  1. To create awareness about the role of SAFOG in the South Asia region
  2. Encourage to present papers
  3. Learn social interaction
  4. Develop linkages and bonds
  5. Grooming to become young leaders
  6. Should be a member of the member society
  7. Leadership qualities
  8. Age less than 40 before 1st of Jan in the year the conference is been held
  9. Published or publishable paper – multi country paper would be preferred
  10. Been involved with SAFOG activities would be preferred
