The Oncology committee had been very active in various academic activities throughout last two years.
1. Webinar on First Anniversary Cervical Cancer Elimination Day
Dr.Aliya introducd & invited Dr. Rohana for welcome address , followed by address of guests
Dr. CherianVarghese SEARO WHO,Dr. Partha Basu IARC WHO, Dr. S Shanthakumari President FOGSI , Dr.Sarikapan Wilailak Chair Oncology Committee AOFOG attended as Guest.

Dr. Rohana announced names for felicitation from all SAFOG countries for their commendable effort in cervical cancer elimination. Dr. Usha Saraiya, India, Dr. Sheela Verma Nepal, Dr. Jumailath Begum Maldives, Dr. Kanishka Karunaratne SriLanka, Dr. Ferdousi Begum Bangladesh, Dr. Haleema Yasmeen from Pakistan and Dr. Chuni Selden – Bhutan.
It was very inspiring to hear from the felicitants their experience on cervical cancer elimination in their countries. Video message from Ms Nandita Das and Ms Sai Bollywood Actor.

2. Educational grant accepted by SEARO WHO for enhancing skills of gynaecologists in Mizoram region east India.

4. SAFOG Oncology Online quiz
Participants: 203 OBGYN trainees and Gynaecology oncology fellows in training in different SAFOG countries.
Learning outcomes:
- This quiz assessed their knowledge on various aspects of prevention and treatment of cervical cancers.
- Also, it helped creating awareness about WHO elimination strategies.
Quiz had two rounds.
- Was played on KAHOOT and comprised of twenty-five questions. (All registered trainees participated in this round).
- The top four participants and their teams then participated in another quiz based on the JEOPARDY game.
